I have been involved in software engineering on a professional basis since 1997.

I worked full-time as a System/Software Engineer in the Aerospace industry until 2008, working on avionics software systems for various clients and target aircraft platforms. From 2008 onwards, I moved into software contract work (in the same industry) specialising in developing software systems to comply with DO178B airworthiness objectives. My work has taken me to numerous locations within the UK and also overseas to Canada, Holland and Switzerland.

Over the years, my clients have included: BAE Systems, CMC Electronics, Cobham, GE Aviation, Meggitt and Rolls-Royce
